He needs all the help he can get, every little bit helps.
The surgery will cost $2870 US everything included, which amounts to approximately $3550 Canadian. He has been able to raise around $100 US from his friends and colleagues in Bolivia but this only covered the required initial tests and pain killers. After spending a few weeks trying to find a doctor and hospital that has space for him, he has been able to find a spot in a small private hospital in El Alto, Bolivia, and will proceed to get his surgery this week. The state hospitals in La Paz, Bolivia, are unable to receive him, and he is in serious pain. He took time off work to care for his elderly parents and was traveling to Peru to get them medicine, but he got into an accident and broke various bones, including his collar bone. He is an extremely generous and kind person.
